Today at The Federalist, I wrote about how Nancy Pelosi’s 25th Amendment bill would politicize a non-political process at a time when the nation would least be able to afford it.

Actually, you missed a huge elephant in the room about this Pelosi’s 25th Amendment move. You are assuming like most this is targeted at Trump. But what if it is really putting the groundwork in place to remove sleepy Joe Biden quickly? The move has some value as a political stunt in the election, but it is little more than a sprinkle rather than a thunder cloud. However, the commission idea is supported by Biden who just might be addled enough to sign a quick bill on February 1 opening the door for Pelosi and others to move against him immediately and long before a cabinet is put in. They all know Biden’s situation is deteriorating and they will not sit idly by and let him collapse if they can simply take him out. Pelosi the Vampiric One (I love the Zeoli nickname!) is utterly ruthless and I have no doubt she has a deal set up with Harris who comes from the same San Fran political machine. Why would she want to wait when Biden could do huge damage to the Dems? Take a step back and the fit is clear. And it also is even more insidious.
I think President Trump agrees with you—that’s basically what he said in the tweet I quoted at the end of the article.
Early on in her career, Pelosi described herself as a “foaming at the mouth Democrat”. She has long used smear tactics as a strategy to diminish support for her political opposition, believing this makes her own ideas more attractive to voters.

And Pelosi has long made it clear she has no respect for the Presidency, if the occupant of the Oval Office gets in her way. But unfortunately for her, every arrogant comment she makes now drives home to conservatives the danger of concentrating too much power in the hands of one person, one party, or one clique of oligarchs.
